Automation 360 v23 Features
We have listed the 5 new features offered in Automation 360 v23.
1. Auto-save functionality
While you are building your bot in the bot editor and you don’t save the bot manually, an auto-save is performed in the background that automatically saves your changes.
Note: The auto-save functionality is currently available only for specific events.
The packages or events that support auto-save functionality at the time of writing this post:
- Recorder
- Variable manager
- Deleting variables
- Bot name change
2. Enhancements to Number Package
There are two enhancements to the Number package:
- You can now specify and limit the number of decimal digits.
- The existing “Save the outcome to a number variable” field is now renamed as “Save the outcome to a variable“.
3. New Credential package
You can now use the Assign action from the Credential package to assign a variable or insecure string directly to the Credential type of variable.
4. Enhancement to File conditions in If package
In the If package, you can now use the new File extension to check the extensions of files and then execute actions based on the results.
It returns True or False based on the condition.
5. Enhancement to Excel advanced package
Now, you can use the Open action of Excel advanced package to open the files with .ods, .htm, .html, .mht, mhtml, .slk, and .pdf extensions.
How to check the version?
Once, you have upgraded your A360 platform. In the case of the community edition, it would be auto-upgraded. For Automation 360 .v23 it will show Build 11513
