Licenses management configuration is also controlled from the control room. There are two types of licenses available in Automation Anywhere:
- Developer License: Users with developer licenses can create, edit, and run the bot.
- Runner License: Users with a runner license can run the bot.
Bot Creator
Bot Creator is used to author bots. This is the machine where the developers create bots. Different developers can create individual task bots and then merge them to execute them at once.
This includes Task Editor, Event Watcher, Bot Player, Auto Login, and Local Scheduler.
Bot Runner
Bot Runner is a machine where all the running instances of the bots are deployed. We can have multiple bots running in parallel.
Types of Bots in Automation Anywhere
Automation Anywhere offers three types of bots: Task Bots, Meta Bots, and IQBot.
Task Bots
Task Bots are the ones that automate rule-based, repetitive, and mundane tasks. Using task bot we can achieve productivity, accuracy, and thus benefiting the organization. Meta Bots
