RPA Developer is the one who builds or develops software bots and helps automate the repetitive & manual process. RPA Developer job is similar to that of any other developer in the software industry with few variations.
These are some of the responsibilities and roles of an RPA developer:
- RPA developers are responsible for designing, developing, and testing the business process.
- Gather requirements from the Client or Business Analyst (BA).
- Get involved with the Solutions Architect (SA) and work on solutions for the process to be automated.
- Build the bots along with the unit and integration testing.
- Move the code from lower environments to higher environments. E.g from Dev to UAT or UAT to PROD.
- Knowledge transfer (KT) and handover sessions to the client’s Dev\CoE team.
- Working on the documentation from an implementation perspective.
- Support the Hyper care period after the go-live.
